This week I was able to attend Catalyst One Day with the team from Cross Pointe Church. Here are some of the insights they shared about developing a healthy organizational culture:
Craig Groeschel’s thoughts on Values & Culture:

- “The number one force that shapes your culture is your values.”
- “If you want a different culture you have to change the values.”
- “Over time vision leaks & culture drifts.”
- “Organizations don’t change, people change. Change the people & you’ll change the organization.”
Andy’s thoughts on Mutual Submission:
- “Healthy & productivity staff cultures are characterized by mutual submission.”
- “As a leader, you have to leverage your authority for the good of other people.”
- “Mutual submission asks, ‘What can I do to help?’.
- “Without margin, there is no room to serve. Without margin, we seek first our kingdom.”
- “The higher you are in the organization, the more responsibility you have to be a servant.”
