This post is an update to a post I wrote yesterday about five women that were in such a desperate situation that they selling their bodies to provide food and shelter for their children.
Through the power of an invitation, all 5 women surrendered their lives to Christ on Friday. They also came to church on Sunday because they were invited…regardless of their past.
When I wrote the post yesterday, I thought it was a powerful story of redemption and the importance of inviting people within your circle of influence to hear the Gospel.
But yesterday’s post wasn’t the end of the story…
Today we held a women’s conference with about 600 women to teach them about their bodies, encourage them as mom’s, and to share with them the good news of Jesus Christ.
Guess who showed up…the 5 redeemed women. But they were not alone. They invited their friends to the conference so they too could hear about God’s amazing love!
Once again…never underestimate the power of an invitation!

Lincoln, thanks for your encouragement. It has been amazing to see the transformation in these ladies lives over the course of this week. What’s great is that they now have a support group through a local church that is helping them provide for their families until they can establish another business.
