“Your system is perfectly designed to provide the exact results you are getting.” – Andy Stanley
Are you satisfied with the results you’re getting? Do you want to improve your spiritual discipline, physical fitness, or financial position? How about your family? Are you connecting with your spouse and engaging with your kids?
What about your church? Are you recruiting enough new volunteers for your ministry? Are people in your church maturing in their relationships with Christ? Are they getting more and more involved in the life of your church? Is giving where you want it to be? What about evangelism? Are you reaching those outside the church? Are people sticking after their first visit?
The truth of the matter is that the results you’re experiencing are the direct outcome of the actions you’re taking. In other words, it is your system that provides the results.
If you’re not happy with the results, then you need to change the system. You may need to eat healthier, exercise more, and intentionally spend more time with your family. For your church, you need to think about the next steps you want people to take and then design your system to facilitate those steps.
