When Sin Comes Knocking | Genesis 4:6-16

Genesis 4 reveals how sin progresses from desire to destruction through Cain's murder of Abel. God warned Cain that sin was 'crouching at the door,' but Cain yielded to his anger and envy, leading to premeditated murder. This pattern mirrors James 1:14-15, showing how unchecked desires lead to sin and ultimately death. Even in judgment, God showed mercy to Cain. As believers, we can overcome sin's power by drawing near to God, guarding our hearts, trusting Christ, and embracing God's discipline and grace.
